The little apartment hotel I Gigli di Mare is situated near the sea, immersed in a peaceful green pinewood. It consists of 4 recently built detached bungalows, completely furnished.
Each bungalow has two double rooms, a sitting-room/kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a veranda and a parking space in the wide garden, surrounding the building.
Thanks to its happy geographical position, the apartment hotel is ideal for a relaxing holiday at the seaside and as starting point to visit important cities of art, like FLORENCE, SIENA, PISA, S. GIMIGNANO
and nearby old Etruscan towns, like VOLTERRA, POPULONIA and VETULONIA.
300 mt away from the apartment hotel, there is a shopping centre: people who do not want to cook can enjoy typical “livornese” dishes at the nearby restaurant " Forte ' 74, like the excellent fish soup "CACCIUCCO”.
In this cosy hotel, people can find only top-quality products: they can enjoy tuscan specialities, like the typical sauces and gravies, crostini (bread served with
savouries) and bruschette (toasted bread seasoned with oil and garlic and often diced tomatoes) and on demand the excellent steak FIORENTINA (chianina meat.
But people come here mostly to enjoy fish, “livornese” specialities, like the delicious CACCIUCCO.
All the courses are prepared with great care, the portions are generous and the fish is fresh.
Close to the main room, there is a smaller room, where the guests can enjoy crisp pizzas in front of a nice wood oven. The chef is Giuliano, who always prepares his pizzas with great passion. The rooms are large and provided with colour TV. From the windows, our guests can enjoy a view over a wonderful pinewood and smell its fragrances.
