The Borgo San Carlo Residence rises in the splendid Tuscan countryside, just some kilometers from the beautiful beaches of Vada, Cecina, Castigliocello, Scogliera del Romito (Livorno), Riva degli Etruschi and many others more. From the Residence, it is also possible to visit many places of interest with cultural influences, such as the famous Etruscan installation of Populonia, the tree-lined avenue of the cypresses of Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci (native land of the famous poet) and many other cities of Art such as Florence, Siena, Volterra, San Geimignano, Certaldo. The tourist getaway, situated in the periphery of the municipality of Pomaia, has been constructed on the ruins of an old alabaster factory and within the vicinity, is a very important extraction mine, which has become a museum and place of excursions. Completely immersed in the greenery of the hills, it boasts of an important Buddhist monastery within a few kilometers, "Lama Tzong Khap", a place of visitations and pilgrimage for famous tourists from all over the world.
